MSE: "Top-20" index grows by 5.8 percent from the previous month to 34722.8 units in July

  • In the last trade of July, the "Top-20" index increased by 2.99 percent and closed at 34,722.8 points. This is an increase of 8.6 percent from the same period last year and 5.8 percent from the previous month. As a result, the market value has once again exceeded 5 trillion MNT.
  • Tavantolgoi JSC's share price rose by 25 percent in the last month, and its market value increased by 111 billion MNT and reached 448.7 billion MNT. The company reported sales revenue of 262.7 billion MNT in the first half of 2022. Earlier it was pointed out that the company's coal sales are on a recovery path.
  • During the same period, the share price of “APU” JSC increased by 7.7 percent, that of “Gobi” JSC by 7.3 percent, and that of “Invescore NBFI” JSC by 2.3 percent.
  • In July, 24.7 billion MNT securities were traded on the Mongolian Stock Exchange, which is half the amount of the previous month. 75% of the value was made up of additional share trading. Out of this, "Invescore NBFI" JSC issued an additional 4 million shares and collected more than 16 billion MNT.
  • In the last quarter of 2022 and next year, companies and banks are expected to continue their IPO activities. Recently, "Voltam" LLC and "Mon Beef" LLC have received their IPO approval.
